Maddox and I spent 45 minutes blowing bubbles in his room tonite. The sticky aftermath was worth it. :] His laugh makes me happier than anything.

I made broccoli lasagna rolls tonite. They were deeeelicious. I'm a damn good cook. It was pretty surprising to me. :D

I think I'm going to meet April in Savannah for sushi tomorrow.

Shayna came & did my hair tonite. Pics later. It's as close to black without actually BEING black. I love it. And she cut it too. Thanks, I am the happery. I can't wait to spray it 1/3 gray for my Bellatrix costume. haha.

I've lost 10 lbs. It could have been more but I slacked off horribly this weekend. Oops. Back on now. WOO!

Tomorrow is the annual Greene Family Reunion. :] Bailey can't go because he has to work so that sucks.. but Maddox & I will be there! And this is the first year that I will be actually bringing a dish. Eep!

Also, I've been planning out dinner for every night a week ahead of time.
Soooooo this is what's on the menu for the upcoming week.

Saturday: I actually have no idea because I've been consumed with reunion cooking for that day. lol.

Sunday:

Monday:

Grilled Chicken Pasta in a Creamy Tomato Sauce
I just made this the other night but it was SO DELICIOUS and such a hit at my house & next door that we're making it again already. ha!

Tuesday:

Egg Salad
Simple enough.. I've never actually made it though so.. why not?

Wednesday:

Lemon Pasta with Zucchini & Feta

Chilaquiles

SOMETHING happened to me recently and out of nowhere, I have fallen in LOVE with cooking. This is strange because I have always hated to cook. My mom is an amazing cook and since everything she made was always delicious... I never even bothered to learn how to do it on my own. Sucked for me when I moved out. I ate like crap for years & then I met Bailey who is also a great cook. SCORE. He gets a little overly excited with pepper sometimes but he's still really really good in the kitchen. When I was pregnant he cooked for me nonstop. I got so spoiled. So anyway, NOW I CAN COOK! And all of a sudden I LOVE IT. I know Bailey is stoked... 4 years later. LOL

I'm obsessed with food / recipe blogs. Especially foodgawker.

I went through all of our pots & pans today to decide which ones were keepers and which ones we can get rid of to make room for the beautiful new cook set we received as a wedding gift from the Ohio Rutledges. :D And while I was digging through them I found the cast iron fajita skillet that I bought around Christmastime and completely forgot about! We seasoned it & then put it away & forgot it existed. haha. So I'll be putting that to use tonite finally! I've never made fajitas before soooo I hope they turn out alright. :D


Maddox was pretty happy having all of the pots & pans out on the floor. :] They ended up taking up half my kitchen floor, my stove & part of the bookcase!

Isn't it beauuuuuuuuutiful?? It was my grandmother's and it's from the 1950's. *SQUEE*
It's totally metal and they do NOT make them like they used to, that's for damn sure. I'm so so so excited to learn to sew on a machine! :D My mind has been going 90 to nothing thinking about all the things I could be able to make! SO STOKED.

And nowwwwww.. since Maddox is napping.. I think I may join him for a bit. ;]
